Empty out that shoe box full of photos!

I was just cleaning out my office and found an entire box full of photos that I had forgotten about. Inside were my wedding photos along with photos Clint's mom had given me of him growing up and pictures of me growing up. The timing could not be better since I will be at a digi-crop/girls' night out on Friday night where I can scan them, all of them, at a a very low cost. $.19 a piece if I decide to do them all.

I have to admit that finding them has made me want to buy my own Kodak photo scanner. Shhh... don't tell my husband! I know the cost would be high at first but it is very tempting since I would love to help people empty all of their old shoe boxes full of photos. The possibilities are endless since we can scan them into a digital format so that all of those photos can be shared with friends and family. In addition to having the photos in a digital format they are now available to be uploaded to their account so that they start using them for projects.

Here is a link to the photos I scanned for Clint's Grandfather.

Deck of Old Maid cards from Grammy's Summer Camp

This summer was the first time that Evie was old enough to participate in Grammy's Summer Camp. During Grammy's Summer Camp Grammy Pammy, Grammy Linda, and Grammy Vicky take their grandkids for a week of fun doing crafts, visiting parks, and just having a ball hanging out together. This year's camp was a Western theme. I took the Grammy photos from the invitations they sent to the grandkids and the kid photos from the "wanted" cards they made from photos taken during the week and made a deck of "old maid" cards for Evie. I used Evie's Grammy Pammy as the extra card in her deck but it can be customized to have any of the cards be the extra "old maid". Here is a link to the entire deck of cards.

ABC book, as easy as 1,2,3...

I just finished creating an ABC book for Evie. She will be 4 in September and is starting to get very excited about reading and learning her letters. We used photos of friends and family along with many, many pictures of Evie to represent the different letters of the alphabet. I am excited that she will be able to learn from something she helped to create. It really seems to hold her attention longer because she remembers helping me choose the photos for her stories. Here is a link to the completed ABC Book. Please take a look and let me know what you think.
